The Miró Foundation Mallorca

The Fundació Miró Mallorca is the ideal place to enjoy the creativity of the brilliant Catalan painter Joan Miró (1893-1983). Linked to Mallorca since his childhood, it was not until 1956 that he settled permanently on the island with his wife, Pilar Juncosa, who was Mallorcan. Thus began a new vital and artistic phase, which would last almost thirty years, and which became one of the artist's most productive periods, at his residence in "Son Abrines", on the outskirts of Palma. on the outskirts of Palma, in Cala Major, where his Foundation is currently located.
